Manifesto

Sustainable workplace

welcome on board is firmly committed to promoting responsible and sustainable business practices. We believe in respecting our workplace with a strong sense of environmental responsibility. We see a welcome kit as the starting point of a collective journey toward a greener future. When joining a new company, employees need to feel that the workplace is sustainable—featuring recycled materials, natural plants whenever possible, eco-friendly equipment and accessories designed for long-term use.

Long-term products

Welcome kits are often a series of goodies, nice to have, and offered in a standard way on first day. It means all employees have the same objects, gadgets or simply put, marketing goodies. We don't need short-term goodies that will be stores in a closet at home or at the office. People have their own personality and needs, and want a few number of products that they can use daily: a lunchbox if they bring their food, a notebooks if they take notes on paper. A quality range of articles is what we propose, with categories to guide a tailor approach: The Foodie, The Geek for instance. They obviously don't need the same.

No branding

Of course every company has a brand to build, a company culture to show and make shine, especially at the workplace. But one or two branded products such as clothing or a mug can suffice. For long-term use, non-branded objects with specific use or purpose are better. And better for the planet too. That is why we have the approach of standard eco-friendly products. So that your current employees can still use these products after they change company. And they might actually mention than they got this product when working with you. On the contrary, a branded product will not be used at another workplace. It will most likely be thrashed.

Zero waste

welcome on board has the conviction that CSR is first and foremost reducing waste, not offsetting. And the core of building a strong and engaging CSR culture is a zero waste policy for your workers. Lunch waste, paper waste, energy waste, water waste. This is where come stainless lunch boxes that can be also used outside for take away, individual glass bottle instead of providing glasses in the kitchen, notebooks only to employees that need one, such as The Writer type. Welcome packs help to bring this vision concrete and tangible from Day 1.
